Versatile, productive and compact.
The machine design, Z-axis travel, geometry and control unit are designed for 5-axis machining with FEHLMANN distribution and rotary units. Up to 5 axes are fully integrated into the control system.
This combination provides the best access and precision for 5-, 4- and 3-axis machining.
The PICOMAX 75 can also be ordered as a pure 3-axis milling machine, the 4th and 5th axes can be upgraded if required at any time.
Easy access to the machine from the front, also in combination with the optionally available automatic workpiece handling.
The new machine design with optimized rigidity and large linear guides as well as precision glass scales for direct measurement with compressed air on all axes guarantee “Jigsaw quality”.
Fully digital drive technology for maximum dynamics and productivity. The mounting surfaces of the machine’s structural parts are cleaned, ensuring the best possible geometry.

GRAPHITE
- For regular machining of graphite, ceramics and hardened parts, FEHLMANN offers special GRAPHITE models.
- These models include guides* and spindles with special scrapers.
- The switchgear cabinet is equipped with a closed cooling system.
*Depending on the model, also optionally sealed.
Options
Designed for 5-axis machining from the start
- The ATS (automatic dividing/swiveling unit) is an in-house development and is also manufactured at Fehlmann.
- Maximum precision thanks to direct measuring system.
- High machining stability thanks to pneumatic-hydraulic clamping
- The 4th and 5th axes are fully integrated into the control system, coordinates are automatically converted
- The machine can also be upgraded with the 4th and 5th axes at any time
- Perfect access to the workpiece even with small workpieces with very short clamping
