What is the ZMM CU325 lathe?

The CU325 machine’s electrics are manufactured by the German company Schneider Electric. The spindle assembly uses bearings and their installation schemes only from leading companies SKF and FAG.
For an additional fee, the CU325 machine is equipped with a taper ruler, with which you can cut taper threads, as well as turn cones. with a digital display device UCI.

Principle of operation and design features of the machine
The CU-325 universal lathe is equipped with 12 spindle speed settings.
The CU-325 lathe can be set up for metric, inch, modular and thread cutting as indicated on the machine’s nameplate.
The spindle system, gear transmissions and other gearbox mechanisms are lubricated by spraying. Other surfaces are lubricated manually.
Operations that can be performed on the CU-325
- turning of external cylindrical, internal diameters and shaped surfaces using special cutters with the largest workpiece dimensions Ø 325 x 1000 mm;
- turning of conical surfaces up to 250 mm long and with an angle of up to ±10°, using a conical ruler (option);
- drilling and boring of holes using special cutters;
- cutting of metric, modular, inch and pitch threads;
