Since the company was founded, the OptoTech name has represented innovation and technological advancement in optical manufacturing equipment. The company was founded in 1985 by Roland Mandler. From the first design concepts and the construction of conventional high speed machines, to the wide range of state of the art CNC generators and polishers offered today, many of our innovations have helped shape the market.

The OptoTech auto de-blocker – ODB 80 Twin-A – is designed for professional fully automated alloy de-blocking. The machine allows uninterrupted de-blocking with no downtime.
Blocking chucks can easily be picked up or can be stacked automatically with the optional OptoTech blocking chuck stacker.
This all guarantees highest economy. It combines the advantage of fully automation with the operational safety of the ODB de-blocking process.
The ODB 80 Twin-A is consequently designed for ultimate efficiency, high process consistency and simplified usability.
The de-blocking stations will be loaded and unloaded by independent linear handlings and achieve a performance of up to 90 jobs per hour (180 lenses/h).
